Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a Jeskai spellslinger and legendary Wizard tribal deck designed to cast high-impact spells for free during combat. The primary strategy involves filling the board with cheap legendary Wizards like Balmor, Adeliz, and Jori En, which scales Gandalf's combat trigger. This allows you to cheat into play devastating spells such as Time Warp, Walk the Aeons, Inspired Ultimatum, or Aminatou's Augury. You close out the game by chaining extra-turn spells, overwhelming opponents with prowess-pumped Wizard armies backed by Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Harmonic Prodigy, or generating massive direct damage via Gandalf, Goblins' Bane and Olorin's Searing Light.
