Captain America by complexus

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, First Avenger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Captain America, First Avenger leads a Jeskai Equipment-voltron deck. The primary plan is to deploy and attach high-mana-value Equipment, then use Captain's {3}, unattach ability to turn that mana value into direct damage while attacking. His beginning-of-combat Catch supplies one attachment each turn, so Captain is both the carrier and the main finisher. Secondary wins come from equipped combat, especially Leyline Axe and other power boosts, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreading commander combat damage, and Chandra's Ignition after a large stack. Kellan, the Fae-Blooded // Birthright Boon is the closest hidden commander-like backup: Birthright Boon tutors an Equipment, while creature Kellan offers double strike and an independent carrier. The deck has no infinite line.
