Deck overview

This deck utilizes River Song as both a tactical punisher and an upside engine. River Song reverses card draws to the bottom of the library while punishing opponents with growing commander damage whenever they search, scry, or surveil. The game plan focuses on forcing opponents to search via land destruction spells like Cleansing Wildfire, Geomancer's Gambit, and From the Ashes. Simultaneously, the deck manages the top and bottom of the library using cheap cantrips. It seals the game either through lethal commander damage accelerated by forced searches, hard stax locks like Mana Breach and Rising Waters, or infinite extra turns using Timestream Navigator.
