Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on a Voltron and exalted strategy helmed by Yuriko, Blade of the Mighty. Yuriko provides two potent combat abilities: shutting down all opposing spells and non-mana activated abilities during combat, and granting double strike to any creature attacking alone. The deck leverages these traits by stacking tall, nonland-scaling Auras and Equipment such as All That Glitters, Idolized, Sigil of Valor, and Eldrazi Conscription onto a single unblockable or protected threat. While early turns establish mana rocks and draw enablers like Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin, the midgame rapidly escalates into lethal commander damage strikes. Opponents are barred from casting removal or activating abilities during combat, forcing them to interact strictly at sorcery speed or during pre-combat main phases. Supported by protective tools like Flare of Fortitude, Guardian of Faith, and Peggy Carter, Secret Agent, the deck sequentially eliminates opponents one by one.
