Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu Treasure synergy deck commanded by Vihaan, Goldwaker. It leverages low-cost ramp, efficient Treasure engines, and versatile tutors to build a dense stockpile of artifact tokens in the first three turns. On Turn 4, Vihaan enters the battlefield and transforms ordinary Treasures into 3/3 Construct Assassin artifact creatures with vigilance and haste during combat. Because these animated tokens retain their mana abilities and vigilance, they attack freely and remain available to tap or sacrifice post-combat. The deck transitions into lethal burst damage through aristocrat payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Mayhem Devil, and Ingenious Artillerist, which punish opponents for token creation and sacrifice. Supported by robust defensive cards like Silence, Ranger-Captain of Eos, and Dawn's Truce, as well as light stax from Karn, the Great Creator and Blind Obedience, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 6.
