Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jund Dragon tribal build designed to ramp into large flying beaters and overwhelm opponents through aerial combat and damage triggers. Commanded by Darigaaz Reincarnated, the deck leans into resilient threats, high-impact Dragon payoffs like Lathliss, Dragon Queen and Scourge of Valkas, and scaling damage amplifiers such as Warstorm Surge. The mana base combines land-based ramp with cost-reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma to cast its 6-to-8 mana threats on Turn 5 and Turn 6. While the deck boasts excellent threat density and natural commander resilience through egg counters, it relies heavily on combat damage over multiple turn cycles to close out the table. Its main limitations stem from a lack of cheap instant-speed protection, a relatively high average mana curve, and vulnerability to targeted exile and fast combo strategies.
