Deck overview

This mono-black deck harnesses Gollum, Obsessed Stalker to turn life gain into asymmetric table-wide life loss. Gollum enters early to tag each opponent through combat damage, leveraging innate skulk and evasion equipment like Brotherhood Regalia and Whispersilk Cloak. Because Gollum's trigger remembers tagged players for the rest of the game, every subsequent point of life gained on your turn is mirrored directly onto those opponents at your end step. The deck pairs explosive burst lifegain spells such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Exsanguinate, and Shard of the Nightbringer with potent damage amplifiers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection to rapidly deplete life totals. Heavy mana generation from Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and Crypt Ghast fuels high-impact spells, while infinite combos like Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose provide alternate instant-win lines. With strong creature removal and equipment protection, the deck applies relentless clock pressure.
