Deck overview

This Abzan deck leverages Myrkul, Lord of Bones alongside an Enchantress and hatebear chassis to generate overwhelming board control and assemble compact infinite combos. Its primary line pairs Devoted Druid with Swift Reconfiguration (or Myrkul's noncreature enchantment cloning) to generate infinite green mana by placing -1/-1 counters on a noncreature permanent, bypassing creature death rules. This mana immediately feeds game-ending spells like Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate. In parallel, the deck utilizes asymmetric stax engines: Drannith Magistrate stops commanders and exile casts, Maha, Its Feathers Night combined with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite wipes opposing creature boards permanently, and Cinderhaze Wretch strips hands. Protected by Sterling Grove, Greater Auramancy, and Destiny Spinner, the deck transitions smoothly from early ramp to impenetrable board states and sudden combo finishes.
