The greatest boys by sancto

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Great Goblin leads a Rakdos Goblin/Orc/Army deck whose primary plan is putting +1/+1 counters on typed creatures to turn them into direct damage and card advantage. The commander is the engine and finisher: counter triggers ping opponents, while death triggers exile and let the deck play extra cards. Secondary paths include Krenko token overruns and a compact Snoop+Recruiter+Kiki-Jiki line. The deck is built to use The Great Goblin's pinger ability; nearly every card either makes Goblins, amasses, places counters, or sacrifices creatures. Fast persist loops with First Day of Class and Metallic Mimic are the most efficient kill, using the commander as the outlet.
