Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis Villain deck uses Doctor Doom, King of Latveria as a discard and drain engine. You connive each combat to draw and discard, triggering Doom's 2-life drain when you discard lands and growing a Villain with +1/+1 counters. The main plan grinds opponents down with repeated discard payoffs like Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, Monument to Endurance and Cool but Rude, plus combat from enlarged Villains and Living Laser tokens. Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin acts as a hidden commander, turning life loss into cards and enabling the Glint-Horn loop. Secondary paths use Phyrexian Altar with Prowler and Ultron for infinite connives and tokens.
