Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros big-mana spellslinger strategy commanded by Lorehold, the Historian. Lorehold gives every instant and sorcery card in hand Miracle {2} and triggers a discard-and-draw rummage on each opponent's upkeep. Because drawing a card on an opponent's upkeep is the first card drawn that turn, any instant or sorcery drawn immediately triggers its Miracle cost. By pairing topdeck manipulation artifacts like Library of Leng, Scroll Rack, and Sensei's Divining Top with devastating high-mana sorceries like Storm Herd, Dance with Calamity, Call Forth the Tempest, and Improvisation Capstone, the deck cheats massive game-ending spells into play at instant speed for just two mana. Supported by free protection spells in Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver, efficient spot exile, and alternate graveyard cheat engines like Quintorius, Loremaster, the deck creates overwhelming token swarms by Turn 5 and closes games around Turn 7.
