Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER is a Naya equipment-voltron deck that uses cheap equipment, equipment tutors, and cost reducers to suit up Cloud and attack immediately thanks to haste. His attack trigger draws cards for each equipped attacker and creates two Treasures once his power is 7 or greater, funding another wave of equipment. The deck aims to make Cloud enormous, give him double strike, and use Super State's damage-spreading trigger to eliminate all opponents in one swing. Secondary lines include Tifa's extra combat, Chandra's Ignition, and artifact-count wins from Hellkite Tyrant or Knuckles. There is no double-faced commander; Cloud, Midgar Mercenary and Cloud, Planet's Champion are supporting legends, not hidden commanders.
