Deck overview

This Mono-Red Superfriends control deck is commanded by Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh // Chandra, Roaring Flame. The game plan revolves around deploying a dense suite of Chandra planeswalkers and protecting them behind asymmetric combat tax pieces such as Ensnaring Bridge, Meekstone, and Smoke. Once the battlefield is stabilized and opposing creature assaults are restricted, the deck accelerates into devastating damage multipliers including Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiery Emancipation. These multipliers dramatically scale loyalty burn abilities, persistent emblems from Chandra, Awakened Inferno, and table-wide sweepers like Pyrohemia and Fault Line. The deck achieves consistent card advantage through planeswalker impulse draw engines and artifacts like The One Ring. While it boasts extreme internal redundancy and resilience against creature-based strategies, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed enchantment removal and noncreature combo lines.
