Deck overview

This mono-blue deck revolves around shapeshifter synergies, clone effects, and incremental advantage commanded by Princess Yue. Early turns focus on establishing mana and utilizing Princess Yue's tap ability to scry toward key pieces. When Yue dies, she transforms into a Moon land, ramping the deck into heavier mana plays. The mid-game develops steady card flow using Matoya, Archon Elder and Fallowsage, while deploying flexible shapeshifters to copy the most dangerous permanents across the table. The deck pivots into a win condition around Turn 6 by resolving powerhouse threats such as Auton Soldier, Homunculus Horde, or a kicked Rite of Replication, converting cloned boards into lethal combat steps over subsequent turns. While the strategy boasts resilience against commander removal and high adaptability to opposing threats, it lacks direct tutors and remains exposed to creature board wipes.
