All Creatures Combo by Zno

Format: Commander

Commander: Honest Rutstein

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari sacrifice-combo deck that hides a Protean Hulk game plan behind Honest Rutstein's discount and recursion. The primary win is to accelerate, fill the graveyard, and sacrifice Protean Hulk into an infinite persist loop with Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Lesser Masticore, Blood Artist, and Viscera Seer. The secondary line uses Necrotic Ooze with Devoted Druid and Channeler Initiate to make infinite mana and finish through Walking Ballista. Honest Rutstein is a value commander rather than a required combo piece: his ETB rebuys a creature and his cost reduction makes early kills efficient. If the combo is disrupted, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Poison-Tip Archer form a serviceable aristocrat drain plan.
