Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck maximizes the Survival mechanic of Kona, Rescue Beastie to cheat colossal permanents into play far ahead of curve. By leveraging low-cost tap enablers such as Springleaf Drum, Paradise Mantle, Holdout Settlement, and Station spacecraft, the deck reliably taps Kona the turn it enters the battlefield or on its first attack. During the post-combat main phase, Kona drops game-altering bombs like Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, The Ten Rings, Nyxbloom Ancient, Akroma's Memorial, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus without paying their massive mana costs. Supported by robust redundant threats, explosive card draw from power-based engines, and high-impact ETB removal, the deck swiftly overwhelms opponents through decisive combat damage. While it requires protection against well-timed creature removal, its density of independent ramp engines and backup cheat permanents ensures resilient mid-game execution.
