Ragost by melloyello8787

Format: Commander

Commander: Ragost, Deft Gastronaut

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros artifact-token deck built to exploit Ragost, Deft Gastronaut's unique conversion kit: every artifact is a Food, and every Food can be spent as a 3-damage blast aimed at **each opponent**. The list is a multiplier-heavy token engine - Academy Manufactor, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Xorn, and Smothering Tithe all supercharge a single artifact token into a torrent of Treasures, Foods, Clues, and Thopters. Meanwhile, Ingenious Artillerist and Reckless Fireweaver convert artifact entry into raw damage, and a Thopter swarm backed by Neyali, Suns' Vanguard and Tempered Steel forms the combat backup plan. The deck is not a combo list: it wins through sustained drain, a big token "burst" turn, and volleyed combat triggers. Ragost himself is a cheap, recastable damage engine, and the practical goal is to deny the table time to answer a board that is both a mobile army and an artillery battery.
