Deck overview

This Temur deck features Riku of Many Paths at the helm of a dynamic modal spellslinger strategy. The deck leverages approximately twenty modal instants and sorceries to consistently trigger Riku's ability, generating flying Bird creature tokens, impulse card draw, and trample buffs. Early turns focus on establishing efficient mana acceleration with dorks, Signets, and Talismans to cast Riku by Turn 3. Mid-game turns scale explosively through trigger multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality, alongside mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Cryptolith Rite. The deck's primary win path floods the battlefield with evasive tokens and delivers lethal combat damage via mass pump effects such as Shared Animosity and Beastmaster Ascension, or closes out games with direct burn from Agate Instigator and Impact Tremors. A compact backup combo featuring Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame provides an alternate instant-speed victory. Robust reactive interaction and protection spells keep the engine resilient against opposing disruption.
