Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger strategy helmed by Eris, Roar of the Storm. The primary objective is stocking the graveyard with instants and sorceries of diverse mana values during the first three turns to discount Eris from ten mana down to just two mana. Once deployed on Turn 4, Eris rewards the pilot with a 4/4 flying prowess Dragon Elemental token whenever a second spell is cast each turn. The deck leverages cheap cantrips, rituals, and high-impact token amplifiers like Dragon Tempest, Rionya, Fire Dancer, and Storm-Kiln Artist to create an overwhelming airborne army. Extra combat cards such as Great Train Heist and Relentless Assault accelerate damage output, while a compact counterspell suite shields key turns. With strong engine redundancy and rapid commander recovery, the deck applies relentless pressure and closes out games by Turn 7.
