Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger strategy centered on Iroh, Grand Lotus, utilizing Lesson cards and graveyard flashback to generate overwhelming spell velocity. The early game focuses on ramping with cards like Arcane Signet and Shared Roots while stocking the graveyard with cheap Lessons such as Abandon Attachments and Accumulate Wisdom. Once Iroh enters the battlefield on Turn 5, all Lessons in the graveyard gain flashback for just one generic mana. On Turn 6, the deck triggers critical onset by pairing Iroh with payoffs like Storm-Kiln Artist, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, or Aetherflux Reservoir. By recasting a chain of Lessons from the graveyard, the deck generates abundant Treasure mana, triggers substantial card draw through Secrets of the Dead, and amasses a high storm count. It closes out the game in a single explosive turn by lasering opponents with Aetherflux Reservoir or burning the table with Longshot, providing a resilient and compact spellslinger finish.
