Meren of clan Mel toth by gruulnews

Format: Commander

Commander: Meren of Clan Nel Toth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Meren of Clan Nel Toth leads a Golgari graveyard attrition strategy that grinds opponents down before executing powerful reanimation swings. Early turns focus on accelerating mana, filling the graveyard with self-mill or tutors like Buried Alive and Entomb, and deploying sacrifice outlets. Once Meren is on the battlefield, recurring fleshbag effects such as Plaguecrafter and Grave Pact creates a suffocating board lock while building experience counters. The deck closes games by looping Gray Merchant of Asphodel for massive life drains, triggering Protean Hulk to assemble game-ending value, or overwhelming surviving opponents with Eldrazi Monument and reanimated beaters.
