New Untitled Deck by lcxd

Format: Commander

Commander: Hakbal of the Surging Soul

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Merfolk tribal deck built around Hakbal of the Surging Soul, using his explore triggers to pump the board and accelerate lands into play. The primary plan is to develop a wide, tall Merfolk army, break through with unblockable effects, and finish via combat or the alternate Simic Ascendancy condition. Secondary paths include token generation from Deeproot Pilgrimage and Emperor Mihail II, plus heavy card draw from Tatyova and Kindred Discovery. There is no hidden commander; the deck is clearly centered on Hakbal, with Tatyova and Kumena as supporting engines. Hakbal's role is both land/explore engine and combat threat. The deck aims to outvalue opponents through repeated explore and counter synergies.
