Format: Commander

Commander: Kaervek the Merciless

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kaervek the Merciless is a red-black group-slug build that turns every opponent spell into direct damage. The primary plan is to ramp into Kaervek on turns 4-5, use his trigger as repeatable removal against creatures and planeswalkers, and grind the table with pings from Guttersnipe, Spiteful Visions, Stormfist Crusader, and Magmatic Force. Secondary paths use Dictate of the Twin Gods to double all burn and steal opponents' graveyards with Sepulchral Primordial or Rakshasa Debaser. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; the deck wins through cumulative damage, board control, and attrition.
