Deck overview

Sheoldred, the Apocalypse anchors a monoblack disruption-control deck that turns card draw into a weapon. The primary plan is to strip opponents' hands with Thoughtseize and Hymn, land Sheoldred, then resolve wheels and draw spells to drain life while refilling. Secondary paths are big-mana Torment of Hailfire, reanimation of Gray Merchant/Junji, and discard payoffs like Waste Not and Orcish Bowmasters. The commander is the main drain engine and a deathtouch blocker; there is no hidden commander and no double-faced commander to parse. The cleanest kill is a giant Torment fueled by Cabal Coffers/Urborg after attrition.
