Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment leads an aggressive Izzet spellslinger deck that converts instant and sorcery spells into massive flying and haste Elemental tokens before combat. The game plan focuses on casting high-cost spells or sequencing multiple spells before the combat step to generate large evasive threats and trigger token multipliers. While aggressive combat is the primary plan, the deck can also close games through token overrun enabled by Rionya, Fire Dancer, massive burn via Comet Storm, or explosive storm turns with Prismari, the Inspiration. Broad token synergy and mana-generating spells support these decisive turns.
