Format: Commander

Commander: Loki, the Deceiver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Loki, the Deceiver leads an aggressive Grixis Villain-tribal deck that wins by turning a critical mass of legendary Villains into an evasive, wide combat team. The primary plan is to deploy cost reducers and Villain lords, then attack with Loki to create a nonlegendary copy of a key lord for a double-anthem effect; each Villain combat-damage hit draws cards. Secondary plans are graveyard synergy, using connive and looting to fuel Anger and the mayhem abilities of The Squadron Sinister and Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, and token protection with The Master, Multiplied, which prevents Loki's copy tokens from being sacrificed. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the leading Loki face, with The Master as a key supporting engine.
