Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Horror Tribal and Mill Reanimator strategy commanded by Captain N'ghathrod. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Horrors, casting the commander on Turn 5 to give them menace, and converting combat damage into targeted library mill. At each end step, the commander steals the best creature or artifact milled from an opponent's library that turn, turning their own resources into an asymmetric board presence. The deck supplements this engine with massive mill bursts from cards like Bruvac the Grandiloquent, Cut Your Losses, and Maddening Cacophony, alongside graveyard-scaling finishers such as Consuming Aberration and Guiltfeeder. It also includes a compact infinite win condition in Duskmantle Guildmage combined with Mindcrank. While reliant on combat connectivity and susceptible to graveyard exile, the deck exerts escalating pressure through stolen permanents and rapid library depletion.
