Deck overview

The deck uses cheap instants and sorceries to place different mana values in the graveyard, reducing Eris, Roar of the Storm from ten mana to a manageable cost. After Eris, Roar of the Storm resolves, casting a second spell each turn creates 4/4 flying Dragons, while prowess rewards dense spell turns. Storm-Kiln Artist, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Archmage Emeritus, and Case of the Ransacked Lab can turn a large spell sequence into substantial mana or cards. The deck also has rituals, Treasures, equipment, counters, and flexible removal. Its main weakness is that the engine is expensive and its normal board does not immediately convert into lethal damage. Haste, trample, Dragon damage, and extra-combat effects are present only as separate cards with limited access. As a result, the deck usually assembles around turn 7, creates a scaling threat then, but has no reliable all-opponent finish or total lockout.
