Deck overview

This Abzan deck blends traditional enchantress card advantage with a punishing stax shell, using Myrkul, Lord of Bones as an engine multiplier. The early game accelerates mana through efficient 1-CMC creatures and land auras, quickly deploying card draw engines like Sythis, Harvest's Hand and Argothian Enchantress. Stax pieces such as Rule of Law, Stony Silence, and Drana and Linvala restrict opponents' actions, shutting down storm, artifact mana, and creature abilities. When opponents remove these hatebears, Myrkul exiles them and returns them as noncreature enchantment tokens, making the lock virtually immune to creature removal. Massive mana from Sanctum Weaver and Serra's Sanctum fuels decisive finishers like Moonshaker Cavalry, Hallowed Haunting, and Starfield of Nyx. Supported by robust tutors and mass recursion like Replenish, the deck controls table tempo and closes games in rapid, protected combat swings.
