Deck overview

This is a Temur Tyranid tribal midrange deck built around +1/+1 counters and the Ravenous mechanic, helmed by The Swarmlord. The plan develops a board of large X-cost Tyranids that enter with counters, multiplies those counters via Hardened Scales, Clamavus, and Magus Lucea Kane, then converts them into card advantage when creatures die (via the commander's trigger) and into combat damage. Token producers like Tervigon, Termagant Swarm, and Tyranid Invasion create go-wide pressure, while payoffs such as Winged Hive Tyrant and Bred for the Hunt add evasion and draw. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat; secondary lines include burn from Exocrine/Zoanthrope and value loops with death triggers. The commander is a strong but non-essential draw engine that grows on recasts and rewards counter-heavy boards.
