Deck overview

This competitive Urza, Lord High Artificer deck pairs explosive artifact mana velocity with a potent combo-control shell. The primary game plan leverages fast mana rocks like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Mox Opal to cast Urza as early as Turn 2. Urza transforms every artifact into an immediate blue mana source and generates a scaling Construct token. The deck then uses efficient tutors like Transmute Artifact, Reshape, and Whir of Invention to assemble infinite mana with Power Artifact on Basalt Monolith or Grim Monolith. Infinite mana fuels Urza's activated ability to exile the entire library, deploy Hullbreaker Horror to bounce the entire table, and mill out all opponents with Codex Shredder before forcing them to draw with Faerie Mastermind. Backed by a dense suite of free counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, the deck protects its lines while disrupting opposing threats effortlessly.
