Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner is a Merfolk-token engine: every blue noncreature spell he casts makes Merfolk, so the deck develops a board while cantripping, countering, and tutoring. The actual kill cards point to Wanderwine Prophets as the hidden commander-combined with Deeproot Pilgrimage and Intruder Alarm, or with Maskwood Nexus, it makes infinite extra turns once it attacks. Primarily the deck digs and tutors to that loop, using Namor-generated Merfolk as champion and sacrifice fodder. A secondary plan is islandwalk beatdown with Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident. The interaction suite is mostly counterspells, making the deck protective rather than controlling.
