Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and topdeck-manipulation strategy helmed by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan accelerates into Yennett on turns 4-5, stacks the top of the library with odd-mana-value powerhouses using Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and Brainstorm, and casts massive spells for free upon attacking. Free targets include game-distorting threats like Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Breach the Multiverse, and Approach of the Second Sun. The deck complements this cheat engine with disruptive stax pieces such as Fatespinner, Shared Fate, and Perplexing Chimera to hinder opposing progress. While the ceiling for free mana advantage and board dominance is immense, the deck relies heavily on Yennett surviving a turn cycle without innate protection or haste, making sequencing and combat management critical.
