Krrik Life Resource by Rikeal

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black deck runs K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth as an explosive life-to-mana engine. By substituting life for black mana costs, K'rrik accelerates big mana spells, high-impact tutors, and reanimation lines turns ahead of schedule. The deck wins by assembling one of multiple lethal combos. Primary routes include the Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank loop, a Necrotic Ooze engine copying Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar in the graveyard to draw the library, or Chainer, Dementia Master repeatedly reanimating Gray Merchant of Asphodel with Dimir House Guard as a sacrifice outlet. Backup plans leverage massive card draw and drain to finish off opponents.
