Deck overview

Krenko, Mob Boss is the engine and payoff of a mono-red Goblin token-combo deck. The plan is to flood the battlefield with haste-enabled Goblins, then convert Krenko's tap trigger into exponential token generation using untap and extra-combat effects. The primary kill is an infinite loop: Skirk Prospector or another sac outlet feeds Staff of Domination, Thornbite Staff, or Aggravated Assault, generating infinite Goblins, mana, and death triggers, finished by Goblin Bombardment, Pashalik Mons, Goblin Sharpshooter, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, or repeated casts of Goblin War Strike. A dense Goblin-tutor package in Goblin Recruiter, Goblin Matron, Moggcatcher, and Gamble plus fast mana like Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus makes the combo surprisingly reachable. If the combo is answered, the deck can still run opponents over with lords, Coat of Arms, Eldrazi Monument, and Helm of the Host.
