Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Temur Voltron and extra-combat strategy commanded by Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana on Turns 1 and 2 using dense low-CMC mana dorks, land ramps, and enchantments to deploy Pako on Turn 3. Pako attacks immediately due to haste, exiling the top card of each player's library, growing larger with +1/+1 counters, and stockpiling noncreature spells and lands with fetch counters. Once Haldan enters the battlefield, those exiled cards become an expansive secondary hand. The deck converts this massive card and mana velocity into a fast clock using extra combat spells like Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Aggravated Assault or extra turns like Time Warp. An elite suite of free and 1-mana protection spells shields Pako throughout combat rotations.
