Deck overview

This Dimir faerie deck piloted by Oona, Queen of the Fae is a high-tuned combo-control strategy that marries a faerie tribal subtheme with a powerful infinite-mana engine. The primary game plan is to assemble a land-based mana loop using Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Cabal Coffers, and Deserted Temple to generate unlimited black mana, then deploy Oona to exile all opponents' libraries or cast a lethal Torment of Hailfire. The faerie shell provides incidental card advantage and a combat backup, while a dense interaction suite protects the combo turn. Secondary wins include combat damage from a growing board of flying Faerie Rogues and the mill from Court of Cunning. The deck is built to dictate the pace through tutors, counterspells, and mana acceleration, winning quickly once the critical pieces are assembled.
