BURN by Smithybro

Format: Commander

Commander: Solphim, Mayhem Dominus

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Solphim, Mayhem Dominus leads a mono-red burn deck whose core is multiplying noncombat damage. The primary plan is to resolve one or more damage doublers/triplers-Solphim, Twinflame Tyrant, Fiendish Duo, Fiery Emancipation, or City on Fire-and convert small pings, upkeep effects, and Chandra emblems into lethal damage to all opponents. Secondary paths include Heartless Hidetsugu plus a doubler and haste, Repercussion combined with board wipes, and a Dualcaster Mage/Twinflame infinite token line. The commander is the cheapest and most reliable doubler, but the deck has enough redundancy to function as a slower burn-control list even if it is removed repeatedly.
