Deck overview

This is a high-power Grixis control-combo deck helmed by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. The core plan is to weaponize the dense suite of targeted interaction (every counter, bounce, and removal is a crime) to fuel Marchesa's dig while assembling compact, library-exile win lines. Primary finishes are Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, backed by Laboratory Maniac, Underworld Breach storm loops, and flash copy combos with Dualcaster Mage or Naru Meha, Master Wizard plus Twinflame/Heat Shimmer. The deck plays like cEDH midrange: early stax-tax draw (Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, Necropotence), premium free interaction, and a deep tutor package that converts any opening into a protected combo turn. Marchesa herself is a repeatable advantage engine rather than a combo piece, rewarding the deck's natural crime density without gating the win conditions.
