Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Greasefang, Okiba Boss to execute an aggressive Vehicle reanimation strategy backed by a dense suite of Rule of Law stax effects. In the opening turns, low-cost discard outlets like Putrid Imp and direct tutors like Entomb deposit premier Vehicles such as Parhelion II and Reaver Titan into the graveyard. On Turn 3, casting Greasefang immediately reanimates these massive threats with haste at combat, generating overwhelming early damage and token board presence. The deck breaks the symmetry of spell-limiting stax pieces including Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Drannith Magistrate, as Greasefang cheats threats into play through triggered abilities rather than casting spells. High-efficiency protection spells like Flawless Maneuver, Grand Abolisher, and Flare of Fortitude safeguard the commander and combat steps from disruption. Lacking infinite combos or fast mana, the deck steadily grinds down opponents across three response cycles, concluding the game through scaling evasive combat damage by Turn 6.
