Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror is built as an instant-speed faerie control/tempo deck. It uses cheap flash spells on opponents' turns to create flying tokens, pressures life totals in the air, and goads enemy creatures to turn opposing boards against each other. The secondary plan is a token/extra-turn burst: after a Rogue connects, Notorious Throng for its prowl cost multiplies the faerie army and gives an extra turn. Interaction and draw are heavy, but the deck has no infinite combo, so it wins through repeated flyer attacks and table politics. Scion of Oona protects the swarm, while draw engines like Kindred Discovery and Enduring Curiosity keep the hand full.
