Deck overview

This Rhys the Redeemed deck is a dedicated Selesnya tokens midrange strategy built to flood the battlefield with creature tokens and compound their numbers exponentially. By pairing an early 1-mana commander with dense acceleration and scalable token doublers like Parallel Lives and Rhys's second ability, the deck rapidly amasses a massive battlefield. Card advantage is sustained through steady engines such as Caretaker's Talent and Idol of Oblivion, while a suite of creature and enchantment tutors ensures consistent access to win conditions. The deck aims to assemble critical mass by Turn 6, utilizing asymmetric anthems like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite or evasion from Champion of Lambholt to execute a table-wide overrun. A robust suite of instant-speed protection spells safeguards the army against conventional sweepers, allowing the deck to survive interactive pods and steadily grind opponents out through combat.
