Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is a classic Mardu go-wide tribal aggro build. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability to generate 1/1 black Vampire creature tokens whenever any Vampire spell is cast, creating massive board presence without needing to cast the commander itself. The deck curves aggressively with low-cost Vampires, using artifacts and Signets for early acceleration before dropping potent combat multipliers like Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and various Vampire lords. Critical combat pressure begins on Turn 5, threatening to eliminate the table by Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage and life-drain triggers from cards like Sanctum Seeker and Malakir Bloodwitch. While the deck recovers efficiently from board wipes thanks to eminence and low mana costs, it carries minimal instant-speed sweeper protection and lacks non-creature interaction.
