Deck overview

This is a **Mono-Blue Merfolk Tribal** deck helmed by Namor the Sub-Mariner, who turns every noncreature spell with blue mana symbols into a 1/1 Merfolk token. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of low-cost Merfolk lords and utility creatures, then use Namor's ability to flood the board with tokens while drawing heavily from tribal synergies like Kindred Discovery and Rhystic Study. The deck wins through combat damage, leveraging Lord of Atlantis / Master of the Pearl Trident for islandwalk evasion and Deepchannel Mentor to make the entire army unblockable. Extra-turn cards Temporal Mastery and Wanderwine Prophets accelerate the clock, while Thassa's Oracle offers an alternative win condition via devotion (though the deck lacks a dedicated self-mill plan). The commander is a powerful token engine but not a combo piece; the deck's resilience comes from its high creature density and recursion via Mystic Sanctuary and Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch.
