Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a midrange theft and attrition build commanded by Laughing Jasper Flint. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost outlaws (Rogues, Pirates, Mercenaries, Assassins, and Warlocks) alongside early mana acceleration to fuel Jasper's upkeep ability. As Jasper exiles cards from opponents' libraries, it converts stolen creatures into Mercenary outlaws, creating an expanding snowball of exile triggers. The deck supplements this strategy with standalone theft engines like Stolen Strategy, Gonti, Night Minister, and Court of Locthwain, while leveraging high-impact finishers like Etali, Primal Storm, Brainstealer Dragon, and Breach the Multiverse. Graveyard theft and passive exile from cards like Dauthi Voidwalker and Gisa, Glorious Resurrector disrupt opponents' plans while fueling your board. The deck wins by turning opponents' best cards against them in combat, closing games out around Turn 8 through accumulated board presence and direct drain.
