Deck overview

This deck is a classic Golgari graveyard and aristocrats strategy led by Izoni, Thousand-Eyed. The early game focuses on milling creature cards into the graveyard using efficient enablers like Stitcher's Supplier, Grisly Salvage, and Satyr Wayfinder while ramping mana. Around Turn 5, casting Izoni converts the stacked graveyard into a large army of 1/1 Insect tokens. The deck then uses sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician alongside drain creatures like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Aatchik, Emerald Radian, and Syr Konrad, the Grim to convert those tokens into massive card advantage and life drain. Mass recursion spells like Living Death and large graveyard swings like Morality Shift serve as powerful game-closing plays.
