Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Equipment strategy helmed by Dwalin, Weaponmaster. The game plan revolves around rapidly deploying low-cost Equipment, casting Dwalin, and accumulating hone counters to turn cheap weapons into massive power buffs. Synergistic Dwarves such as Dáin Ironfoot, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk provide combat keywords, free equip activations, and token generation, while pure equip enablers like Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist eliminate mana bottlenecks. The deck searches for its key pieces through Dwarven Recruiter, Fighter Class, and Steelshaper's Gift, drawing cards steadily with Sram, Senior Edificer and Kíli the Resourceful. Once assembled on Turn 4, Dwalin presents critical lethal commander damage by Turn 5 and systematically eliminates opponents one by one over subsequent turns. Supporting protection cards like Boros Charm, Lightning Greaves, and Swiftfoot Boots safeguard the board against disruption, though the deck remains focused on linear combat pressure.
