Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King leads a brutal Rakdos combo-control deck that turns attack triggers into an unending mana engine. The primary plan is to get Ozai or a Neheb into the red zone, float large amounts of red (kept unspent by Ozai's mana-persistence clause), and chain extra combats with Aggravated Assault. Secondary paths use the same generated mana to fire off Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire, or clamp down opponents with Blood Moon, Ruination, and land destruction. The commander is an accelerant and finisher rather than a required combo piece, but his haste, trample, and firebending make him the best vehicle for the Sword of Feast and Famine loop.
