Deck overview

This Dimir deck leverages Etrata, the Silencer as a lethal alternate win condition. Etrata's primary drawback is her mandatory self-shuffle trigger whenever she connects in combat. The deck solves this by using instant-speed flicker, bounce, and phasing spells like Essence Flux and Slip Out the Back to reset her identity before the shuffle trigger resolves. Non-legendary cloners like Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Auton Soldier duplicate Etrata to multiply combat triggers, while Ramses, Assassin Lord offers an explosive shortcut that claims the game whenever an opponent dies. While Etrata is unblockable and difficult to stop once shielded, her reliance on opponent-owned creature targets and multi-turn combat rotations makes her vulnerable to empty boards and prolonged removal windows.
