Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Eluge, the Shoreless Sea to turn lands into Islands and place flood counters, granting substantial mana discounts on the first instant or sorcery cast during each player's turn. Early turns focus on hitting land drops and establishing light ramp before casting Eluge on Turn 4. Once Eluge attacks, the discount allows the deck to dominate the table with premium countermagic, bounce spells, and card draw at virtually zero mana cost on each opponent's turn. The deck accumulates flood counters through attacks, blinks, and clone spells, building toward a critical turn where it casts a discounted Enter the Infinite or an enormous draw spell. From there, it safely deploys Laboratory Maniac and draws a final card to close the game on the spot, backed by a hand full of free interaction.
